Do We Need By-laws?

At last night’s WNSC, we had a lively discussion about our governance structure.  As Defender of the Constitution, I would like to point out to my esteemed colleagues that our Constitution does indeed stipulate quorum:

A quorum will consist of a majority of the executive present at a meeting where voting takes place.

However, we had a larger discussion surrounding constitutional amendments, notice to members, etc.  This begs the question of whether we can continue to operate with the current governing structure or whether we require by-laws.  Use the poll to express your opinion.

We also require a rating system.  Again, we had much discussion about how to structure said system.  Would it be a 5, 6, 7 or 10 point system?  Graphic, numeric or both?  Do we need definitions?  The list goes on and on.  Our Master of Ratings has her work cut out for her.

Finally, will we ever actually post a restaurant review?  I mean, that’s what we’re here for, isn’t it?!

So many questions; so few answers.
